Crystal & Michael Young - Qatar's Inland Sea Dunes 2010
The purpose of this wiki is for the author, Crystal Young, to become more familiar with building and using a wiki for intensive academic English courses primarily based on campus. This wiki is a requirement of the TESOL PP110: Online Learning for Campus-Based Teaching course for September 2011.
I graduated from Drury University with a B.A. in Spanish after studying for one year at La Universidad de Granada, Spain. At Missouri State University I earned my M.A. in English with an emphasis in TESOL. My first full-time teaching position was at Daegu University in South Korea, followed by two years of teaching at Myongji College, also in South Korea. After a short return to MSU's English Language Institute, I taught for two years at Qatar University. After teaching at the American English Institute at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, I now teach at Missouri State University's English Language Institute. My hobbies include: distance running, reading, traveling, hiking, learning, sewing, and spending time with my wonderful husband and our two cats - Frankie & Sophia.
